Orientation: Moving into Presence
Mark Taylor
Meeting with novelty or threats in the environment, our bodies normally react with a stress response, which prevents us from being fully present. On this first day of the conference we will enjoy orienting and re-orientating through our senses, to increase comfort in our bodies; comfort within our personal spaces; and comfort within the virtual space we will be sharing for the next four days.

Cellular Respiration
Mark Taylor
External respiration—breathing in the lungs—brings oxygen and energy into the body. As pleasurable as it is, you will discover a deeper connection with your breath by focusing on how it moves into and out of each cell in your body. Awareness of breath in the body provides deep relaxation and creates the potential for healing and transformation on a profound level.
Pocket Horse: Equine Assisted Mindfulness Meditation ©
Shannon Knapp
At the end of this conference day, as our heads and hearts reel from the mixture of knowledge and experience, relax and awake at the same time through meditation. In this session we’ll practice mindfulness meditation, through the lens of Dan Siegel’s Wheel of Awareness while also immersed in the sensory-rich experience of being with horses. Mindfulness Meditation is all about being truly, nonjudgmentally aware and present; let’s step into this moment, with horses, together. Beginning meditators are welcome!

Spinal Movement and the Fountain of Youth
Mark Taylor
The spine forms the central axis of the body and protects the spinal cord: as we age we tend to lose spinal mobility, so the fluidity of the nervous system suffers as well. Gently and systematically mobilizing the spine creates rejuvenation in the nervous system while releasing superficial holding in muscles and ligaments.
Finding My Rhythm and Our Together Rhythm
Mary Taylor
Through exploration of different rhythm patterns, find the rhythm that your body feels the most “in tune” with at this moment. Then share your rhythm with a partner in a break-out room and work together to integrate your two rhythms into a shared rhythmic experience.
A Journey from Parts to Self
Jenn Pagone
This guided meditation will assist you in identifying any activated parts that are calling for your attention, and help you attune to your body to build resiliency and increase resources. A regulating way to create internal space and begin a day of learning.

Soften the Trigger
Jessica Benton
We will move through a 30 minute release of 'system' when triggers happen. This will focus on our pelvis, spine and core connecting breath and body - the very foundation of yoga. Forgiveness is not an event, it is a lifestyle that includes flowing through awareness and acknowledgement toward active participation in our release. I will introduce several tools within this flow that can be adapted for yourself within life and used proactively or reactively when triggers occur.
