Understand how the brain develops optimally in response to healthy, connected relationships - and how trauma and toxic stress impact relationships with ourself and others.
We can't change what we don't notice. Learn how partnering people with horses helps both heal and grow. Learn to apply these same principles when helping others - even without the help of horses.
Help your clients form healthier patterns by practicing new behaviors in their relationships. As they begin to experience a rewarding sense of deeper connection with their self and others, these new ways of being and interacting are reinforced.
Whether you help people form healthier connections through psychotherapy or through coaching for personal or professional growth, the Natural Lifemanship process helps people make positive, lasting changes in their relationships with themselves and others.
Natural Lifemanship co-founders, Tim Jobe and Bettina Shultz-Jobe, will discuss the difference between offering support and rescuing in the context of the therapeutic relationship. They will discuss why this matters from a neurobiological and attachment perspective. Given that EAP has many of its foundations in experiential education and learning, some fundamental differences between experiential education and trauma informed care will be discussed. Specific case examples will be shared. The following will be discussed as they apply to client goals and the therapeutic process: problem-solving, independence, self-regulation, co-regulation, being able to ask for help, interdependence, team-building, communication, thinking “outside of the box,” relationship, and intimacy.
Please note the webinar time is CENTRAL STANDARD TIME and adjust to your time zone.
