Working in the mental health and helping professions can be psychologically and emotionally taxing. We all know, intellectually, that we need deep and restorative self-care in order to be at our best. It is what we encourage our clients to practice. Yet, are we really doing it for ourselves?
About Building Your Resilience
The Natural Lifemanship Institute, in collaboration with our students and partner sites, has developed the Building Your Resilience online series: to provide opportunities for profound self-care, through mindfulness, meditation, art, journaling, self-reflection, and more.

Mindfulness Meditation With Sarah Willeman Doran
This five-week course prepares your mind, body, and soul for a daylong retreat where you put everything you learn into practice.
Learn the fundamentals of mindfulness meditation, how to work with emotions, cultivate inner resources and self-compassion, and embody the heart practices of forgiveness and loving-kindness.
90-Minute Weekly Sessions on Zoom
Mondays at 5:00 PM Central Time
June 6, 13, 20, 27, July 11
The daylong online retreat is from 10-4 PM
Central Time on Saturday, July 30th.
NL Members Price: $75 ($6 per hour)
About the Instructor:
Sarah is a life coach, meditation teacher, and NL practitioner. A former Grand Prix show jumping rider, she also breeds and develops young horses. She is the author of the blog Grappa Lane, which covers the topics of conscious living, horses, and psychology.
