Krystal Raley
Certified Natural Lifemanship Clinician and Equine Professional; Trainer
Krystal Raley is a life-long horse lover. She experienced firsthand how supportive a horse could be as a best friend in her teen years. She is passionate about helping others find and cultivate those deep relationships with horses.
Krystal received her M.A. in Sport-Exercise Psychology from Argosy University-Phoenix in 2005 and interned under Barbra Schulte of “Mentally Tough Riding.” She became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2009. She has worked at several residential facilities, helping adolescents, men, and women, specializing in addiction (using the 12 Step Model) with dual (mental health) diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, Autism, ADHD, and many others.
She has been offering equine assisted therapy services for over 10 years. Krystal is Certified as a Mental Health Professional and an Equine Specialist in Natural Lifemanship ® and has been a Trainer for two years.
Krystal’s background in sport psychology and competitive horse events allows her to help riders and horses in a multitude of ways. Her passion lies in helping equestrians who lack confidence to gain an improved relationship with their horse and find renewed assurance as a partner. Creating a deeper connection and relationship with their horses creates more successful riding experiences both personally and competitively. Workshops such as The Confident Rider use horse psychology and human psychology to initiate not just “horse training” but “life training.”
