Alyssa Rowe

Lead Instructor for Online Learning

“One can’t get over the habit of being a little girl all at once.”

-L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Avonlea

Alyssa is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Educator with over 20 years of service to children and families through education and mental health support. Skilled in direct practice, education, program development, and leadership. Alyssa specializes in supporting caregivers through experiential coaching and psycho-education. Her approach is firmly grounded in Attachment Theory and Trauma-Informed Care, strongly emphasizing connection, playfulness, creative expression, and faith.
Like so many in this field, Alyssa’s relationship with one special horse – a Mustang named Shawnee – inspired her to pursue training in equine-assisted services. After an intensive internship with Tim Jobe and Bettina Shultz-Jobe, Alyssa became one of the pioneer Natural Lifemanship trainers.

Alyssa’s favorite ways to spend time include hiking with her family, playing with her equines (Shawnee, Sherman, and Burrito the burro), creating art, dancing, gardening, and reading.
