Advanced Certification Eligibility
If you’re working toward Advanced Certification, this course applies as a Specialty Course.
IMPORTANT: If you want to apply the Self Paced Learning track toward Advanced Certification, you need to participate in and/or watch the recording of each discussion, summarize what was discussed, and reflect on your take-away from the discussion and how you will apply the material to your work. There are 6 one-hour Zoom meetings, of which you will be expected to attend at least 4 meetings live. We understand life happens so you may skip up to 2 of the 6 meetings and watch the recordings/write your summaries instead. If all requirements are met, those pursuing advanced certification will earn a total of 39.75 CE hours for the Self Paced Learning Track
If you want to apply the Deep Immersive Experience track toward Advanced Certification, you must fulfill the requirements for the Self Paced Learning track and attend the 12 small group discussions. If all requirements are met, those pursuing advanced certification will earn a total of 51.75 CE hours for the Deep Immersive Experience track (or a total of 57.75 CEs if you also attend the 6 large group discussion meetings!).
For those who are NOT seeking to apply the course to Advanced Certification, the large group discussions are optional and 33.75 CE hours will be awarded upon completion of the course.
Tracks
Flexible Learning & Discussion Track
This track is ideal for those seeking a flexible, lower-commitment learning experience while still gaining valuable knowledge. Participants will watch course videos at their own pace and can choose to attend large group discussions. While participation in discussions is optional, there are specific requirements for those who would like to count this training toward Advanced Certification.
This track allows for more anonymity and self-paced engagement. The cost is $499 for non-members and $249 for members, with a $50 discount for those who have already completed the online NL Intensive and/or the NL for Young Children & Families community-based specialty course.
Deep Immersion Learning Track
This track is an immersive and deeply personal learning experience designed for those committed to both professional and personal transformation. Participants will engage in all aspects of the Flexible Learning & Discussion track—watching course videos and attending large group discussions—but will also join a small, intimate group (no more than eight participants) facilitated by Bettina Shultz-Jobe.
In this setting, students will explore their own attachment styles, engage in somatic and body-based work, and practice secure attachment through experiential exercises and developmental movement. Each small group session includes time to connect as a group, learning concepts related to attachment, and hands-on experiential practice. Additionally, participants commit to completing the Adult Attachment Interview with Jim Harlow at their own cost (unless previously done through the NL Personal Immersion). The small group meets 12 times for two-hour sessions. The cost is $1999 for non-members and $1699 for members.
