Complete required client hours through a mentored, on-site internship within the Natural Lifemanship model.
Internship for Client Hours
Starting Summer 2026
As part of the in-person certification launching in Summer 2026, Natural Lifemanship will offer on-site therapy and learning internships through NL Counseling & Wellness. These internships are designed to support students as they complete Step 4 of certification, which requires 60 client hours.
Within the internship, students gain hands-on experience in a trauma-informed, experiential healing environment while receiving mentorship and supervision from seasoned NL professionals. This pathway allows learning to be applied in real client relationships, with care for both the practitioner and those they serve.
Why It Matters Now
This work asks a great deal of those of us who choose it. It calls for presence, attunement, and ethical decision-making every time a client or horse enters a relationship with you. These qualities deepen most naturally when learning is supported, relational, and rooted in real experience.
If you have been considering certification, this in-person offering creates a unique opportunity to move through the entire pathway at once. Training, practice, mentorship, and reflection come together in a single, integrated experience, allowing learning to connect and build in real time. You are supported throughout the process, with care for both your growth and the people and horses you serve.
Choose a supported way to complete your client hours.
