Beverly earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University in 1995 and has been a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Texas since 1996. Beverly started her professional life in a traditional, office-based setting, but that all changed when she attended her first EAGALA training in 2009 and Natural Lifemanship (NL) training in 2011. Understanding that people tend to learn better experientially, noting that horses are great teachers, she quickly moved out of the office and into the pasture to help people “experience stable relationships”. Using TF-EAP, Beverly has a full EAP/EAL private practice at Red Dun Ranch in Houston, TX. With her equine partners, she offers individual, family, and group EAP, as well as EAL workshops and retreats. She specializes in working with children and teens, as well as their families. Many of her clients present with ADHD, mood disorders, ASD, anxiety, substance abuse, and parent-child relationship problems.
