Tammy obtained her BA in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999 and her MA, also in psychology, from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2002. She currently holds a license in Professional Counseling issued by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Tammy has worked extensively with families in various settings ranging from an adjudication center, to family shelter, foster care, treatment centers, and the public school system. She also spent one year focusing almost exclusively on the treatment of eating disorders when she served as the Clinical Director and developed the program curricula for a new treatment facility in Austin. Over the past thirteen years she has worked in private practice, collaborating with other mental health professionals and members of the legal community to establish standards of practice for therapeutic intervention with families involved in high conflict divorce disputes.
