I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in WA state. I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Saint Martin’s University. I work with individual clients, couples, and families to address issues presented in clinic. A majority of the work is completed on the ground, out of the saddle. There will be times where mounted work is appropriate but riding is not an expectation. As a veteran, I am passionate about working with other service members. Therapy is provided for challenges such as: Trauma (E.g. military, sexual assault, physical abuse, accidents) Anxiety Depression Couples Counseling Family Therapy Grief I take a holistic approach to mental health. What does this mean? Take grief for example. When someone is grieving, they may experience a loss of appetite or excessive hunger. Physical symptoms may appear such as headaches or stomach aches. A holistic approach considers all of these factors when developing a treatment plan.
