Trauma Informed and Equine Assisted Teletherapy (1 CE Credit)
This webinar is the second in a series entitled: Survive + Thrive = SurThrive! An NL Webinar Series for Navigating the Pandemic.
It offers 1 CE credit hour.
This one hour webinar is presented by Reccia Jobe, Rebecca Hubbard, and Jenn Weiss, owners and founders of Pecan Creek Ranch in Georgetown, TX, who chat about their recent move to telehealth. They share the specific criteria they are using to determine with whom they do in person sessions and with whom they are transitioning to telehealth, and they demonstrate the amazing and VERY CREATIVE ways they are incorporating the horses and the experiential piece of this work into telehealth. Lastly, they discuss some of the benefits and disadvantages they have experienced thus far. Reccia, Rebecca, and Jenn have over 30 years of collective experience in the field of trauma focused equine assisted psychotherapy that they bring to this recent, and very quick transition to telehealth.
