Welcome to the Fundamentals of Natural Lifemanship Original 3-Day Format.
In this course you will be a virtual participant at one of our original Fundamentals of Natural Lifemanship trainings. You will learn the scientific foundations underlying Natural Lifemanship’s model of Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (TF-EAP™). You will also have the opportunity to observe the Natural Lifemanship relationship principles that emerge from these foundations and that guide all TF-EAP work.
Whether you intend to practice TF-EAP or to allow Natural Lifemanship (NL) to inform other types of therapy or related work, you will benefit from NL’s coherent framework for understanding the complex interactions between neurobiological development, mental and behavioral health, and relational health. We hope you will also enjoy the relaxed and accessible style of the teachers of this course, NL co-founders, Tim and Bettina Jobe, who strive to make the content engaging, relevant and easy to understand.
This online course provides a conceptual orientation to the Natural Lifemanship model.
This course offers 15.75 CE credits upon completion. It does not meet the requirements to attend the NL Intensive training nor does it meet requirements for those who are seeking NL Certification. If you wish to register for the Intensive training or pursue certification, you must participate in the online Fundamentals of NL Training.
This course is centered on a video recording of a live Fundamentals of NL training that took place toward the end of 2016 in Liberty Hill, Texas. It features videos of the didactic instruction delivered by Tim and Bettina, the demonstrations, and some of the practice sessions.
You will proceed through this course in the sequence in which the training actually occurred. Modules are organized by day and lessons are numbered sequentially from 1 to 15.
To complete this course, you must proceed through all 15 lessons by viewing the videos and completing a reading assignment, if one is specified. You will be given the opportunity to check your understanding of the content by completing post lesson multiple choice questions or reflections. Once you have finished all 15 lessons you will be given a final exam that must be passed with at least 75% accuracy. After completing the end-of-course evaluation, you will receive instructions for downloading your certificate of completion.
There is an accompanying manual for this training and some of the lessons will refer to material found in the manual. You may access a PDF version of the manual, or you may purchase a hard copy. A complete reference list is provided at the end of the manual.
SCROLL DOWN and you will see the link to access the manual and other course materials under Modules. Once you visit the links to download the manual and look at course addenda, you must click Submit Lesson for each. You’ll know when you have successfully submitted all course lessons when you see a green checkmark next to each link in the course outline.
